Overview

Bazinga Parties takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our websites and booking platform, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We’ve written it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us — contact details are at the bottom.

Who You’re Dealing With

Bazinga Parties operates in several countries. The company responsible for your data (the “data controller”) depends on where you book:

What We Collect

When you book a party or request a quote. Event date, time and location, the birthday kid’s first name and age, your name, phone number, email address, billing details and any notes you add about your event. For corporate and event bookings we also collect your company name, invoicing details and tax number where applicable.

Your booking history. We keep a record of your bookings, quotes and preferences so repeat bookings are faster and we know your party history when you contact us. There is no client account or password — your bookings are managed through confirmation links and direct contact.

When you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe sends us confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the details we need for invoicing.

When you communicate with us. The content of your messages and attachments, whether they come through our contact forms, email, or WhatsApp. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation also passes through Meta’s WhatsApp Business platform.

When you visit our websites. Cookies and analytics data: approximate location, pages visited, time on site, browser and device type. Details are in the Cookies section below.

When you leave a review. Reviews are written on Google under Google’s own terms. With your review public there, we display it on our websites, including your first name and rating as shown on Google.

Kids’ Information

We collect a small amount of information about children — typically a first name and age — and we collect it from you, the parent or booker, so our entertainers can get the party right. Our websites and services are directed at adults. We never knowingly collect information directly from children, and we never use children’s information for marketing.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  1. Deliver your booking — scheduling, dispatching the right entertainer, running the party
  2. Send quotes, invoices, confirmations, reminders and other service messages
  3. Coordinate with the entertainers and suppliers working your event
  4. Respond to your questions and provide support
  5. Take payment and prevent fraud or unauthorised access
  6. Understand how people use our websites so we can improve them
  7. Send marketing, but only if you’ve opted in — and every message includes an easy way out
  8. Meet our legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer law)

Who We Share It With

We share your data only where it’s needed to run your booking or our business:

  1. The entertainers and suppliers working your event — they receive the event details, contact information and party notes needed to show up prepared, and nothing more
  2. Service providers that run parts of our platform: payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare), messaging (Meta / WhatsApp Business), email delivery, and analytics (Google). Each is bound by contract to use your data only on our instructions
  3. Authorities, where the law requires it or to prevent fraud or harm
  4. Anyone else — only with your explicit permission

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Where Your Data Lives

Our platform runs on Cloudflare infrastructure with data stored in the EU and the US. Because we operate internationally, your data may be transferred between the countries we work in. Where data leaves the EU, UK or Switzerland, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies for two things: making the site work (remembering your booking in progress, keeping you logged in) and understanding how visitors use it (Google Analytics). Analytics cookies are only set where your consent is required and given. You can manage cookies through the banner on our site or your browser settings.

How Long We Keep It

We keep booking and invoicing records as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7–10 years depending on the country). Booking history is kept while you remain a client. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Everything else is deleted when we no longer need it.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure from established providers. No internet transmission is ever 100% secure, so please be sensible about what you send us — we’ll never ask for your password or full card details by email or WhatsApp.

Your Rights

Wherever you are, you can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Take your data with you in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from marketing

To use any of these rights, email us at privacy@bazinga.events. We’ll respond within one month. Country-specific rights are listed in the annex below.

Changes to This Policy

As our services evolve, this policy will too. Significant changes get posted here with a new “Last revised” date, and if a change materially affects how we use your data, we’ll tell you directly.
